Biofuels

Biofuel usage is on the rise and already accounts for at least 10% of all fuels used for transport in Europe

Biofuels are similar in chemical composition to conventional fuels but are derived from biomatter such as plant materials or animal waste, this makes them a potential solution for businesses that produce a lot of organic waste.

Biofuels can be used for any size vehicle but they are a particularly promising alternative fuel for buses and trucks, where long recharge times and size of batteries make electric vehicles an unfeasible option.
